Locating the iTOK Backup Lock Icon

The iTOK Backup lock icon is located on your Windows system tray.

You can double-click on the lock icon to open the iTOK Backup Center, or right-click on the lock to open a menu of frequently-accessed options.

The color of the lock icon indicates the status of your backup.

When you first install iTOK Backup, the lock will turn yellow, indicating that the files you've selected for backup have not yet been uploaded to our secure backup servers.

When your first backup is finished, the lock icon will turn green. The lock icon won't turn yellow again unless your backup is more than 24 hours behind. A red lock icon indicates that there's a problem with your backup that requires your attention. (If a red lock appears, iTOK Backup will pop up an alert box to tell you what's wrong and what you can do about it.)
